About Us

A.P. Shipping Limited began trading on May 1st 1996. Our company name originates from the initials of the Managing Director, Antony Pelham. Antony gained an abundant amount of knowledge within the shipping and transport industry before starting the A.P. Shipping journey.

In April 2017 we purchased a 23000 SQ. FT warehouse facility and made it our own by building a purpose-built concrete ramp to load both trailers and containers for our European and International customers. Since arriving at our new premises, we have been able to rapidly expand the services we can offer our customers such as storage, professional cleaning of cars and machinery and professional packing to name a few. On top of this we now have a dedicated Import and Export customs clearance department. A.P. Shipping is now situated centrally in the Industrial Area of Hull, within close proximity of the Docks and the A63 putting us in a prime location and easily accessible for all modes of transport.

Our objective has always been to spend time listening to our customers, understanding their needs, working hard to develop operating systems and services that meet all our clients specific requirements. We are very proud to provide a wide expanse of shipping and support services for all of our customers throughout the world.

It is our intention to continue to develop our network of Port Agents globally. We already have partnerships with professional shipping agents in America, Canada, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Far East, Australia and New Zealand and these relationships and contacts continue to grow.

Our highly experienced European department have a wealth of knowledge in arranging groupage, full loads and out of gauge cargo to and from Europe.

Our Deep-Sea department work diligently to ensure our customers shipments run smoothly and endeavour to be one of Europe’s leading container and roll on / roll off specialists for both import and export shipments.

Our rapidly growing in-house customs clearance team are on hand, constantly arranging clearances for some of Europe’s biggest hauliers and well-known UK manufactures.
